Tuesday Talk – What We’re Looking for in a New Truck

This week we are talking about what we are looking for in a new to us truck. We have mentioned to a few of you in the comments that one of the first orders of business, once we get into Tucson and are stationary again, is looking for a new truck. Why? We want an automatic. Courtney just has never gotten comfortable driving manual in Clifford the big red truck. So since it is better to have both of us comfortable driving our only vehicle we decided to bite the bullet and find a new tow vehicle for Charlie. In today’s video, we discuss what we are looking for.

On Tuesday’s we’d like to answer questions sent to us from viewer’s like you and share some of the details of our Airstream life. If you have a question for us please let us know in the comments below or at our website astreaminlife.com

A Catch Up Weekend in a Field in Idaho

In today’s video, we decided to spend the weekend back in our field in Island Park Idaho. We originally were only going to overnight there on the way north but since the signal was good we decided to spend the weekend so we could stream football. We got to happy hour with some cows and answer some questions from our commenters. Next stop, North Yellowstone area in Montana!

How & Why We Chose a Leer Shell for our 2008 Dodge Ram

Storage is KEY when you live full time in any RV but especially an Airstream. We knew we needed some safe, secure and weatherproof storage in Clifford, our truck. Steve walks you through the process we took in picking out and getting our Leer Shell.

If you have any questions about our truck, or anything else about our Airstream life please let us know in the comments!

The Story of Clifford our Big Red Truck

We’ve had a few people ask us about Clifford, our 2500 red Dodge Ram, so we thought we’d tell you the story about how we decided to purchase him. Steve will walk you through our process and show you all the cool features that we didn’t even know it had (and neither did the dealer). We lucked out on our truck and couldn’t be happier. The ride is smooth for me and the girls and Steve assures me he can’t even feel the Airstream behind us. Plus he has so much fun driving the manual!

If you have any specific questions about Clifford or our decision please let us know in the comments!

Monday Vlog Day – Vlog 1 – Clifford’s New Do, Dogs & Summer Storms

Monday is now Vlog day!!! We’re going to try and give you a sneak peak into our lives every Monday through our Vlog series. Expect these to be full of out-takes and the random going-ons of our Airstream life. Eventually when we start traveling you’ll get glimpses of our campsites, and the gorgeous places we’ll be exploring. For now it’s life in Tucson as we get ready to hit the road.

In this week’s episode Clifford gets a new do…. a new shell that is. We’re super excited about all that extra storage! You get to see lots of our pups because we think they’re hilarious. We share the first monsoon storm of the season and a glimpse of how we work here in the Airstream. Enjoy the view!

Happy Monday Friends!
