This week we are discussing what it’s like being back in Tucson. Yesterday we discussed why we love being stationary again but today is all about Tucson. We’re back here because Courtney is working this winter BUT even without that, we would be back. Tucson is a great city, especially in the winter! We explain why.
On Tuesday’s we’d like to answer questions sent to us from viewer’s like you and share some of the details of our Airstream life. If you have a question for us please let us know in the comments below or at our website astreaminlife.com
In today’s video, we talk about the things we love about being stationary. While we love traveling we realized this past year that we enjoy being stationary as well. We have to have a balance. After traveling for the past 7 months we’re really enjoying having a home base where we can get lots done, see people, and not have to worry about where we will be next week.
In today’s video, we pack it up in Sedona and head south finally making it back to Tucson after 7 months. We talk about some of the changes at the KOA since we’ve been gone, set up at the same site we were at in the spring and discuss plans for truck shopping!
Monday is now vLog day!!! We’re going to try and give you a sneak peak into our lives every Monday through our vLog series. Expect these to be full of out-takes and the random going-ons of our Airstream life. Eventually when we start traveling you’ll get glimpses of our campsites, and the gorgeous places we’ll be exploring. For now it’s life in Tucson as we get ready to hit the road.
In this week’s episode we enjoy the Holiday lights at Winterhaven in Tucson, Steve goes on a mission to get firewood, and we give you a peak of Mission San Xavier which was built in the late 1700s. Enjoy the view!
We finally get back into the Airstream after the solar install and we hit the road for the trip back from Oregon to Tucson. Check out the adventures along the way and what we decided on for our solar system. Next week’s video will be a solar show and tell of all our components and where they were installed.
We had an amazing experience with AM Solar. If you are thinking of getting solar installed or looking to buy a solar package to install yourself we highly recommend them.

In this week’s episode we go shopping with my mom. First stop REI for some stuff for our upcoming trip to Colorado. Next the Container Store for organizational pieces for the Airstream. Finally I take my mom to my favorite nursery so she can pick out some plants. If you’re ever in Tucson you should check this place out. So cool! Enjoy the view!
