Getting Lost 3 Times on the Turquoise Trail in Tucson AZ
On a past Saturday morning we decided to be tourists in our own city and explore downtown Tucson by walking the Turquoise Trail. The Turquoise Trail is a 2 1/2 mile loop trail that winds around downtown Tucson and is marked by a turquoise strip along the curb. There are 23 distinct stops on the walk with plaques at each stop (in both Spanish and English). The entire walk is dog and stroller friendly and can be done all at once or in parts. Be aware that the trail does cross itself multiple times so we recommend printing the map below. Even with it we got lost 3 times. O bother! However we realized how gorgeous downtown Tucson can really be. We highly recommend this to both locals and visitors alike!

Once we start traveling you can expect a lot more of these kinds of videos. Do you like them? No? Is there specific parts of our travels you’d like to see? We’re going to start exploring Southern Arizona and playing tourist in our own town this fall/winter so we’d love to get your feedback.
