Tuesday Talk – Our Decision for Healthcare on the Road
On Tuesday’s we’d like to answer questions sent to us from viewer’s like you and share some of the details of our Airstream life.
This week we’re talking about healthcare on the road. This is a much talked about and obviously very personal issue for full time travelers. Some have health insurance through work, or Medicare. Others like us have to find insurance from our state of residence. We decided that none of the plans worked for us and instead went a different route, health sharing. We think it will work well for us but I guess time will tell.
We’d love to hear from you about health insurance, or health sharing! Let us know your thoughts or experiences in the comments below.
For more detailed information on our health sharing decision check out Steve’s article on our sister blog Think Save Retire.

Cool. That’s the way we are going as well. We’ve looked at Christian Ministries and Samaritan. Cost is about the same. $300 for two at Christian Ministries is their gold plan. I think you can get coverage for as little as $75 a month for their TCP (Tin Can Plan). Had to throw in a little joke there.
Haha I like the Tin Can Plan Wayne 😉 It seems like if they can, more and more RVers are going this route. It’s not like we have all that many options though….
