Saturday Share: The Most Important Lesson Learned from 83,000 Brain Scans
Every Saturday I would like to share with you a video I find inspirational. There are so many amazing, enriching resources out there. Hopefully these videos will bring you joy and inspiration!
This week’s video is a little bit different. Normally I feature videos which inspire us to take action in our own lives. Today’s video is more ‘food for thought’. It’s amazing how many people want to keep things as they are and don’t like the idea of merging science with more behavioral fields. Dr. Daniel Amen explains why it is so important to merge technology with practice and to keep an open mind about what is possible. I don’t know more about this research than what is in this video but the idea of it is fascinating. We know so very little about how the brain works. If there is an ability to change the brain in times of trauma or problems I think we should definitely be researching it. Given the number of brain issues that arise in today’s society I think this research is important and possibly vital to our health in the future.
What do you think? Had you heard anything about brain scans and reversing brain problems before now? Any thoughts?
