Our Last West Yellowstone Trip Into the Fog to Mystic Falls

In today’s video, we head back into West Yellowstone one last time from our boondocking spot in Island Park. This time we brave the fog to hike in Biscuit Basin to Mystic Falls which is an awesome waterfall! We then continued the loop to a nice Overlook, especially nice since the fog had cleared. Next stop…the Grand Tetons!

First Day in Yellowstone: Fairy Falls & Imperial Geyser

In today’s video, we head to Yellowstone National Park for our first day of exploring. We decide to do a 7-mile hike to Fairy Falls and the Imperial Geyser from the Fairy Falls parking area south of the Grand Prismatic Spring. It was a lovely day for a hike and since this was a bit of a longer one we didn’t see very many people which was awesome considering the crowds we say elsewhere. The Fairy Falls was absolutely gorgeous and then only a mile further was the Imperial Geyser which was unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. While at Imperial Geyser we were recognized for the first time by Tina and had a wonderful chat. An amazing day of hiking, scenery, and meeting awesome people!

The Three Capes Scenic Drive Along the Oregon Coast

In today’s video, we take the Three Capes Scenic Loop Drive from Tillamook down to Pacific City Oregon. Unfortunately, the road was closed so we had to go slightly out of order but we still got to see the three capes. The first cape is Cape Meares and the lighthouse by the same name. Make sure to check out the Octopus Tree while there! Next cape is Cape Lookout which we decided to drive on by. Finally, we get down to Pacific City and Cape Kiwanda which rounds out our 3 capes. The beach at Cape Kiwanda was awesome between the fishing boats screaming into shore, the giant sand dune and the tide pools. We had a blast! Plus we got to eat some delicious tacos. Mmmmm.

So Many Waterfalls & Last Night in Bend

In today’s video, we take McKenzie Pass Highway through a bunch of lava rock to go and see some waterfall not far from the Sisters. The first waterfall hike was Proxy Falls, which is our absolute favorite falls hike we’ve ever seen. The Lower Falls was AMAZING! We highly recommend it! We then stop and see Sahalie Falls which was roaring and took the quick walk down to Koosah Falls as well. We love waterfalls! Lastly, we share our last night in Bend before we head West towards the Coast.

vLog Day – vLog #42 – Saguaro National Park East

We’re going to try and give you a sneak peak into our lives through our vLog series. Expect these to be full of out-takes and the random going-ons of our Airstream life. Eventually, when we start traveling you’ll get glimpses of our campsites, and the gorgeous places we’ll be exploring. For now, it’s life in Tucson as we get ready to hit the road.

In this week’s episode, Courtney’s parents are in town so decided to do the loop drive in Saguaro National Park East and look for some wildflowers. We were a bit early for the wildflowers there but we saw lots of beautiful saguaros and prickly pear. We also learned why Saguaro National Park East seems to have fewer saguaros then the West Side. Like us, Saguaros don’t like the cold! Enjoy the view!

vLog Day – vLog #41 – Girls’ Day at the Phoenix Flea

We’re going to try and give you a sneak peak into our lives through our vLog series. Expect these to be full of out-takes and the random going-ons of our Airstream life. Eventually, when we start traveling you’ll get glimpses of our campsites, and the gorgeous places we’ll be exploring. For now, it’s life in Tucson as we get ready to hit the road.

In this week’s episode, Courtney has a girls” day with her mom and brother’s girlfriend at The Phoenix Flea. Courtney described the event as Pinterest + Instagram threw up, Steve described it as dangerous to the wallet! It is an AZ focused flea market with mostly local artisans selling their wares and it happens 2x a year. We highly recommend it to anyone in the area in October or March!
