What We’ve Learned Living 3 Years in Our Airstream

Video Description

On this Airstream Life vLog, we pack up and leave the Alpaca farm Harvest Host we were staying at to head towards the RVE Summit in Alabama. Our original plan was to spend a night at Cracker Barrel but when that didn’t work out due to it being too crowded…we decided to drive all the way to the Summit instead. So glad we did! Lake Guntersville is beautiful!

Meanwhile, it’s our 3-year anniversary of living in the Airstream. It’s hard to believe we’ve lived in our 30 foot Airstream Classic for 3 years now. We have learned so much and we share some of those things in today’s video.

We talk about Airstream and storage (hint there isn’t much) and how you have to find storage elsewhere (like in our truck). We also talk about some advantages of Airstream such as the fact they are shorter than many rigs and skinnier making them easier to handle, tow, and avoid bridges and branches and some disadvantages such as them being so low to the ground. We talk about making friends, people’s assumptions and many other things we have learned over the past 3 years including what to do to make sure RV livable as a full-time home.

It’s been an amazing 3 years living in our Airstream and we hope for many more to come!

Stay tuned for adventures at Lake Guntersville and the starts of the RVE Summit in the next video.
