This week we are answering a question from a viewer about how we keep food cold while traveling full-time in our Airstream. Also, we discuss whether we grocery shop with the Airstream or not.

We know that there are some people in the full-time RVing community that do not feel comfortable leaving their propane on while they are driving down the road. We do not have a problem with it and it means our refrigerator is just as cold when we get someplace as when we left.

We also prefer going grocery shopping after we’ve set up camp. It is convenient to have the Airstream in the parking lot to load up the groceries but the stress of dealing with crowded parking lots is usually more offputting.
