On this Airstream Life vLog, we drive about 40 minutes out of Taos to check out a one of a kind community, an Earthship community. We took a community tour with a guide for $18 each. In this 2 hour tour, we learned all about the history of Earthships, why they are so exciting environmentally (and for your wallet), and the political issues they face. We also got to go inside 5 different Earthships of different sizes and purposes. This really was one of the best tours we have ever been on. Living off-grid often in our Airstream, we need to think about water conservation, solar, etc. but with an Earthship, the house is literally alive and working with you. So cool!
