On this Airstream Life vLog, we take you along for a less typical day in the life video. We are camped on our friend Gary’s land and as a thank you, we told him we wanted to help with some of his projects.

First up Gary teaches us how to trash prune a section of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and we help him with a few rows. He then shows us how they will actually prune the vines later in the season. It was fascinating to learn about grapevine anatomy and how much work goes into getting good fruit for great wines 🙂

Then we load up a trailer with our new ball hitch on the truck and head into the Cochise Stronghold to pick up close to 200 tires. It is dirty work since the tires are filled with water and mud but we get them all back to his property, ready for them to begin using them for walls in the Earthship. A good day’s works!
