Hello Michigan. Awesome Silicone Bag-Bowl Review, Traveling & a 3-Course Meal

Video Description

Luumi Silicone Bags, Bowls, Straws & More

On this Airstream Life vLog, we leave Ohio and arrive at the Wayne County Fairgrounds in Michigan. We will be in Michigan for the next 2 months! We are so excited to explore so much of this awesome state but for now, we are camping in between Ann Arbor and Detroit and plan to be here about a week.

Meanwhile, Courtney does a review on a new product we’ve been testing out. It is the Luumi Bowl. It is a food-grade silicone bag that is made to be able to transform into a bowl which is easy to fill and use. Then you can just seal it back up again and throw it back in your pack since it’s both air-tight and watertight. It’s perfect for those of us camping and packing snacks but not wanting to use plastic bags or bowls that end up in the landfill. Not only can you use them for snacks but you can also cook, bake, boil, sous-vide and freeze them. Wow! We are going to keep testing them out but so far we love them.

We also have a couple of their Luumi bags which will be perfect for snacks and sandwiches in our hiking packs. You know we try very hard to reduce our waste as much as possible. We often boondock a lot but we don’t use paper or plastic products if we can help it, even with limited water. These are a great addition to our eco-friendly super useful line-up.

If you are interested to check out all the Luumi products here. They even have straws and lids which would be super useful if you get a lot of drinks while on the road. You wouldn’t have to use plastic tops or straws!

Full disclosure we were sent these Luumi bags for free to try out by Eartheasy. However, we really do love them and know you will too. Eartheasy also has a lot of other eco-friendly products. In fact, they are a family business committed to bringing you practical products & information for sustainable living. Just the kind of business we like to support.

Then we head into Ann Arbor for restaurant week plus a few fun stops. We check out a gluten-free bakery where Courtney gets a bunch of yummy baked goods, a meadery where we share a flight of very dry delicious meads, and finally getting an amazing 3-course Mexican meal at Isalitas as part of restaurant week. So much fun! We are going to like this area.

Stay tuned for more Detroit and Ann Arbor fun in our next video.
