On this Airstream Life vLog, we want to let you know that Patti is doing just fine! She’s home and recovering. You’ll see why once you watch the video.
As promised in the last video, we are in Michigan wine county so it’s time to start enjoying some wine! We go to a couple of wineries for some tastings only minutes from our spot at the casino. One of the wineries has a sweet outside area where we challenge each other to some bocce ball. We tied at one game a piece. Rematch to come.
We then head over to Suttons Bay down the peninsula a bit to first get some delicious dinner at Hop Lot which is a really cool family-friendly brewery before stopping to get some ice cream at a local place on the way home. Feels like summer in Michigan!
The plan for the next day was more of the same but plans change. Patti had a series of seizures including one pretty serious one. So we take her to the Banfield Vet in Traverse City to see whats going on. While there she has a couple more so they recommend we check her into the emergency vet overnight to be monitored and started with antiseizure medication.
It was a very scary day. Luckily she comes home the next day and besides the meds making her extremely loopy, she’s been seizure-free! So stay tuned for that in the next video.
