Exploring Cleveland: Stained Glass Windows, Amazing Food, Breweries, & a Cemetery

Video Description

On this Airstream Life vLog, we head into Cleveland to do some exploring but first Steve shows off something we’ve been working on. We have had a number of requests for shirts and honestly, we’d love to have some as well so we’ve been working on a design. Steve shows off the men’s version of our first shirt design. Live Your Best Life. We want the shirts to have a good message and not be all about us. We really like the men’s shirt but are still working on the material for the women.

What do you think? Do you have a quote or saying we should use on the front of the shirt? Let us know in the comments!

Then we head into Cleveland. Our first stop (in the pouring rain) is the Lakeview Cemetery. It is absolutely gorgeous and includes sites open to the public like the Garfield Memorial, the Wade Chapel, and the Roosevelt Obelisk. We learned a great deal about Cleveland and history in general during our visit. The Lakeview Cemetery is a garden cemetery and has beautiful grounds. Definitely worth a visit.

Our next stop is the Westside Market. This is a permanent farmers market with a building devoted to fruits and vegetables and another devoted to meats, cheeses, baked goods, and prepared foods. We wandered around for a while and got a bite to eat. We also stopped at the Market Garden Brewery for a flight with some friends.

Our last stop in Cleveland was another brewery this time the Noble Beast. We got to enjoy some super unique beer, hang out with friends and even watch the brewers in action. Very cool!

While this may not be the tour of Cleveland many would take (we didn’t do the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame or the Pro Football museum) it fits us perfectly. That’s the amazing thing about RVing and travel. You can choose what works best for you and your family. Cleveland is not somewhere most people think of but we highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Stay tuned for another day near our campground south of Cleveland before we head out to one more absolutely thrilling stop in Ohio.
