On this Airstream Life vLog, we do something fun for our last night in the Wisconsin Dells and it’s a surprise for both you guys and Steve. We go to the Grateful Shed Truckyard which is a restaurant/bar with food trucks inside. How cool is this place? We sit inside a VW bus to eat our sushi and Mexican we picked up from the food trucks inside not to mention sip our cocktails from the bar. Then we meander around the place checking out all the cool decor before getting Steve a sweet treat from the Airstream and playing a little giant Jenga to end the night. This was a really cool and unique place to hang out!
The next day it’s time to move on to La Crosse Wisconsin. We spend our first day there hanging out with some subscribers and new friends, Matt & Patty. They take us on a tour of the area which includes a scenic overlook, downtown La Crosse, nearby La Crescent Minnesota, and one of the dams and locks along the Mississippi River. Wow! We didn’t realize how much went into getting the barges up and down the river. Thanks, guys for the awesome and educational tour!
The next day, and our last day in La Crosse we go back to Riverside Gardens which we had driven through the day before. This is a free public garden and park in downtown La Crosse with different gardens dedicated to countries with sister cities. We loved the Norwegian garden with its veggies and waterfalls, the Irish garden with its water wheel, and the Chinese garden with its water lilies. What a fun way to spend an afternoon!
In the next video, we officially head into Minnesota to camp for the first time so stay tuned.
