On this Airstream Life vLog, we enjoy a couple of days on Lake Topaz in California. We learn something new about our Airstream! It gets down to 17 one night and since we have electricity we have the heat pump on. When we wake up in the morning the thermostat still says heat pump but the furnace is on. What? Turns out the heat pump cannot function below 40 degrees so it automatically switches over to the furnace. Good to know! We enjoy having the lake to ourselves on our second night and then take you through our safety checklist as we hitch up and head to Lee Vining and Mono Lake.
