On this Airstream Life vLog, we leave Radical Wine Company and head farther north into PA to Frances Slocum State Park. After arriving and checking in we set up at our camp spot. It is in the area that allows dogs. Many PA and NY state parks restrict pets to only certain areas of campgrounds so we made sure to book a pet-friendly site. Keep that in mind if you are camping this area.
Steve shares some knowledge about surge protectors. We recently heard a story about someone getting a LOT of damage to their RV by being plugged into 50amp with a surge protector. Ouch! While surge protectors are a lot of money they are well worth it if they save you from the hassle and expense of having to make repairs to your RV. We use ours every time we plug in.
After setting up we discuss some details about the park like Verizon signal & internet and the shower situation before we make some chipotle chicken tacos for dinner. That’s one of the things we “collect” along our travels. Recipes or ideas for food and cocktails! We had amazing chipotle chicken tacos at the brewery a couple of nights ago and Courtney set about recreating them with fabulous results. This will be a family favorite for years and will always remind us of Pennsylvania.
