On this Airstream Life vLog, we spend the day on Mackinac Island after taking the ferry over from St. Ignace. We decided to take the MIghty Mac ferry which not only got us to and from the island but also took us under the Mackinac Bridge briefly for a cool photo op. Wow! It is impressive. The longest suspension bridge in North America. Plus we got to ride in both Lake Huron and Lake Michigan since the bridge is the official separator.
Once we made it the island we walked around and enjoyed the sites and the fudge. We were originally planning on renting bikes and biking the 8 miles around the island which is supposed to be beautiful but we didn’t have as much time as we would have liked due to Patti still not being 100%. That’s okay we still had a fabulous time exploring with our friends.
Then, unfortunately, it was time to leave, We loved our spot at Straits State Park and would highly recommend it! Our next stop is Tahquamenon Falls State Park to see the waterfalls. We only booked this a couple of days ago but found a nice site in the Hemlock loop for 2 nights. Our Weboost cell booster made the internet usable too. You can find it here.
