Tuesday Talk – Settling Down or GoGoGo!
This week we’re answering a question about whether we are looking forward to settling in one place for a while after all this go-go-go. The answer is complicated as we explain. We are definitely honing in on a travel style we enjoy and have been a little too go-go-go for the last little while but we fear the whole winter in Tucson will be a bit too long. What do you think? Which do you prefer?
On Tuesday’s we’d like to answer questions sent to us from viewer’s like you and share some of the details of our Airstream life. If you have a question for us please let us know in the comments below or at our website astreaminlife.com
I’ve been following your blog for a while now – have been looking at Airstreams ourselves. Anyhow, I had a few questions that I thought I would ask: 1) with your travel into Idaho, are you planning to be somewhere in the path of the eclipse next Monday? 2) all your travel seems to be just in the West – any thoughts of heading further east over time? 3) do you end up making friends of other people traveling around such that you plan for larger groups of people camping in the same place at a future date?
We decided not to stay in the totality zone and were at about 97% near West Yellowstone. It was still pretty cool! We are currently focusing on the West Coast for the next 2 years (since we need to be in Tucson for the winter months and don’t want to travel all the way East yet). We both have family on the East Coast and plan on doing a full East Coast year probably in 2019. East Coast takes a lot more planning than we are currently used to and is more expensive, so we want to be prepared! We’ve met up with some people while traveling and hope to do even more in the future. We keep an eye on the people we follow on Instagram to see if anyone is near us that we can meet up (it is normally the most up to date of the social media channels). Thanks for the questions!
