In today’s video, we pack it up in Sedona and head south finally making it back to Tucson after 7 months. We talk about some of the changes at the KOA since we’ve been gone, set up at the same site we were at in the spring and discuss plans for truck shopping!
In today’s video, we go on a tour of some ruins down the road from our boondocking spot outside of Sedona. You need reservations to tour the Palatki ruins but they are free with an America the Beautiful Pass. We got to see the ruins and also an extra Pit tour of a sacred area where ancient people roasted Agave which was covered in pictographs. Something a little different than what we’ve seen before. We end our time in Sedona at our favorite restaurant Elote, before it’s time to head back towards Tucson.
In today’s video, we head out onto the trails to hike Devil’s Bridge in Sedona. It’s a beautiful hike among the red rocks not far from town. We’ve never walked over a bridge/arch before and in this hike not only can you do that but you can also walk below it! We highly recommend it!
In today’s video, we are boondocking outside of Sedona. Steve shows off some amazing photography he has made at this site, including Milky Way shots. Then we head into Sedona. First stop the Chapel of the Holy Cross which is a working chapel built into the red rocks with amazing views. Next, we head to Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village for a nice walk through a beautiful complex full of art and cute shops. We even decide to stop into Oak Creek Brewery for a flight while we were there. After lunch, we drive through the touristy area of Sedona before heading up to the Airport for the views.
In today’s video, we hang at Lone Rock Beach on Lake Powell for the day. We even get the kayak out and paddle around the Lone Rock. What a gorgeous place! After extending our time there one more night we pack up and head to a boondocking location outside of Sedona, going through 11 traffic circles to get there!
