This week we are answering a question from a viewer. They asked if we ever have been kicked out of a campground or had trouble because of our dogs barking.
Nope! As many of you know our dogs are pretty good. They actually don’t bark very much at all. To ensure they don’t there are a few things we do when we leave the Airstream.
We make sure there is white noise. Whether this is the fantastic fan running or the A/C fan running, having some white noise prevents the dogs from hearing too much of what is happening outside. What they don’t hear they don’t bark at.
We also often close the curtains or shades on the windows they can see out of. Again what they can’t see they don’t bark at.
If you do have dogs that bark while you are away from your RV you may have trouble at campgrounds. Some are stricter than others. We know RVers who have taken their dogs with them almost every day when they leave their rig to avoid issues. When going into a National Park or somewhere they can’t take their pets, they find a doggie daycare for the day.
