This week we are answering a multi-part question from a viewer about the best multi-purpose things to have in the Airstream for full-time travel and RVing. Last time we talked about clothing. Today we are talking kitchen gear. We think the item with the most purposes and uses in our kitchen is our tea kettle. Not only does it heat water for tea, it also heats water for coffee, espresso, and Steve’s tea kettle showers. We also put the cold water from the lines when we take a shower boondocking, into the kettle for use later. Other multi-use items are our cake pan (cookie sheet, baking pan etc.) and our collapsible bowl & colander. We also use Tubaware or our eating bowls to do all our prep so as not to dirty more dishes. Another great multi-purpose kitchen item is, of course, the Instant Pot!
