On this Airstream Life vLog, we get to bring Patti home! As you may have seen on our previous video Patti suffered from a bunch of seizures which had us leaving her at en emergency vet overnight in Traverse City. After the got her on the antiseizure medication she had no more seizures overnight! So we get to go and pick her up!
Penny is super excited to see her sister when we get her back to the Airstream. Patti is very very loopy. The drugs they have her on are very strong and it will take a while for her to get used to them. So we spend a day and night taking care of her and helping her walk and stand before moving a day early to Traverse City State Park.
The sites at the state park are very interesting. The first one they put us in we had to do a 3 point turn to park the Airstream. Unfortunately, our power cable wasn’t long enough to reach the power pedestal so we went back up to the office and got moved to a different site which is tight but do-able. It’s only for one night anyway since we have a one-week reservation starting the next day.
We take you on a walk/stumble with Patti before changing to our new site which will be home for the next week. Patti is getting better every day and we are so grateful!
