On this Airstream Life vLog, we leave Robert Treman State Park to head towards Watkins Glen but first a little stop. The checkout is 11am but check-in is not until 2pm so we spend a couple of hours in a parking lot at Robert Treman. We make some lunch, get some internet and do some work before packing back up and heading to the KOA.
We would rather stay at the State Park in Watkins Glen but camping wasn’t open there for the season yet so we settled for the KOA. We are happy for the full hookups though!
The next day we unexpectedly head to Watkins Glen State Park to hike the gorge trail while the weather is nice. You have to be flexible when full-time RVing and we wanted to take full advantage of the sun.
Watkins Glen State Park was absolutely magical. The stone trail dripping with water, the tunnels, the bridges, the waterfalls, and the green were breathtaking. This is Courtney’s favorite waterfall hike we have ever done and that’s saying something. We highly recommend planning a trip around this park. Amazing!
