On this Airstream Life vLog, we take a 2-hour drive from Buffalo to Devils Tower National Monument. This is the 1st National Monument in the USA. It is impressive to see in person. Why is it called Devi’s Tower? It was a misinterpretation of the Native American name which was Bear’s Tower (they heard Bad God’s Tower). The legend has it two girls were running away from 2 giant bears. They got on top of a rock and prayed to the Creator to help them. The rock then raised up into the air with the two bears clawing at it trying to get up. This created the tower!

After seeing the tower and the prairie dog colony we head back to Gillette Wyoming where we have some delicious Mexican food for lunch and check out the town.
