On this Airstream Life vLog, we take the short walk from our Airstream over to the Gift Shop at the Caverns of Sonora to join our tour group. Tours are $20 an adult and they are led in groups of no more than 12. We had 10 people on ours which was a little crowded but still amazing.

You start the tour in the dead section of the cave which is a good thing! Our cameras needed 5-10 minutes to acclimate to the warm humid temperatures inside the cave. They finally de-dogged by the time we got to the living part of the cave which was absolutely amazing!

This cave had more crystals than I have ever seen. We even walked through a giant Geode! Each room was awe-inspiring and the crystals were so close you had to be careful not to accidentally touch them. Our tour guide was a font of knowledge plus extremely funny making the tour even more fun. We loved this tour and it was absolutely worth a stop on the way to San Antonio. Amazing!
