Video Description
On this Airstream Life vLog, we head to Minnesota for the first time in the Airstream and we take you along for the ride. Why? Because we decided to take the more scenic route along the Mississippi River on our way north of St. Paul. The water was gorgeous! We even stopped at a super convenient rest stop with beautiful views. We love it when we can have a travel day where we get to see the area while driving!
We settle in at the Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Campground north of St. Paul. This is a very nice county park campground with lots of room between the sites and a couple of loops with 50amp and water. That’s’ why we are here. We were supposed to be camping at a state park in Wisconsin without power but with the mid to high 80s and lots of humidity in the forecast for this week we changed plans. That’s why it is always good to stay flexible and have backup plans!
Speaking of staying flexible, we were going to take you with us to a brewery and a miniature train museum in this video but we had to change plans. Why? Our temperature sensor in our Airstream turned off on the hottest day of the week. So we had to go back and check on the dogs. Luckily it was just our internet randomly shutting itself down but you never know. We will get to the train museum and take you along another time.
In the next video, we take you to the opening day of the Minnesota State Fair. Wow! So much fun even with all the people. The food and drink were amazing! So stay tuned for that.
