Checking out Crater Lake in the SNOW + Another Moving Day
In today’s video, we head to Crater Lake National Park and are surprised to find it still COVERED in snow. It’s been over 100 degrees in Tucson (where we are from) so we were flabbergasted by the amount of snow still left here in mid-June. Crater Lake was still absolutely beautiful but we definitely want to some back in the summer one year to enjoy the hikes we couldn’t do. Did you know Crater Lake is the deepest lake in the US and second deepest in the world? It also has NO rivers or creeks leading into it. It is a volcanic crater that has filled with rain/snow over the years. Very cool!
We finish up the video by hitching up and heading out towards Bend. Plus we figure out our hitch issue! We think!
