This week we are answering a question from a viewer about whether we have a scanner or printer in the Airstream as we travel full-time and if not how what we do when we need to use one.

We do have a scanner in the Airstream. It is incredibly small and compact so it’s perfect for those occasional time we need it. Courtney likes to scan any important paperwork so we have digital copies and then shred the paper. We don’t want to be carrying around paper if we can help it!

We do not have a printer. We have not needed one enough to make it worth the extra hassle, space or expense to keep one with us. When we do need to print which we have had to do a few times while on the road, we go to friends and family or to a library or FedEx/Kinkos. The little we’ve spent to print over the past 3 years is totally worth not having our own printer in our opinion.
