Video Description
On this Airstream Life vLog, we do as promised and head to Ricketts Glen State Park to hike a 3-mile loop with 18 waterfalls…. It is pouring down rain the entire time we are hiking so when Steve said rain or shine in the last video, he meant it. That’s okay! The waterfalls on this hike are totally worth it.
We end up hiking about a mile of the loop and seeing 4 amazing waterfalls, including the largest fall before turning around and heading back. We were drenched by then and although Courtney would have kept going (she LOVES waterfalls) we were starting to worry about the camera equipment. It was still totally worth it though and we highly recommend if you are in the area to come and hike here. It is not an easy hike but it is not very long and the payoffs are huge!
The reason we decided not to stay at Ricketts Glen was the lack of any cell phone service. So we headed back to Frances Slocum State Park and the Airstream. We dry off and warm up then show you how we deal with lots of wet jackets and clothing in such a small space. Plus we give a little peek at some of the other ways we store things in such a small space.
In the next video we get out to do a little more exploring in our area…this time it involves trains, so stay tuned!
