Video Description
On this Airstream Life vLog, we leave Texas and break up our drive to New Orleans by free camping at a Harvest Host location in Arnaudville Louisana. Bayou Teche Brewing was hopping when we got there. They always have live Cajun music on Sundays and this Sunday was particularly busy due to it being right before the end of Mardi Gras!
After figuring out where to park the Airstream (since the parking lot was so busy). We got to walk over and enjoy some beer and some live music. Lots of great beer to choose from! They also have amazing woodfired pizza (though they ran out they were so busy) and a cool little gift shop with Italians sodas. We enjoyed our time hanging out and chatting with locals.
We even got to meet up with some subscribers who drove out when they saw we were in the area. Thanks for the King Cake and the fun conversation Lynn & Phil!
After the brewery closed we headed back across the parking lot to our Airstream. We made up some dinner and got the catalytic heater going since it was going to be a cold night. Luckily we stayed nice and toasty. The brewery is on a road but it was very quiet overnight. Steve’s only complaint was the neon sign in the parking lot lit up the Airstream some. Even the internet here was good! It was a great stop after a long day’s drive.
On to our camping spot near New Orleans in the next video 🙂
