Video Description
On this Airstream Life vLog, we leave the Pima County Fairgrounds in Tucson and head up to the Wild Horse Pass Casino on the southern edge of Phoenix. This is not our favorite kind of casino parking lot camping. Here you park in the semi parking lot and you are crammed in like sardines!
Luckily this is only the plan while Steve goes to Jury Duty in Phoenix and although noisy with trucks idling it works well for an overnight. While Steve goes to jury duty, Courtney organizes the Airstream. Even living in a tiny home, things get unorganized and you carry around stuff you don’t use and don’t need.
Steve gets out of jury duty early, yay! So we decide to leave the casino parking lot in search of a better place to spend the night. Our first choice of Picacho Peak State Park doesn’t work out since it’s full so we head back down to our old standby, the Pima County Fairgrounds. We even end up getting our same spot!
Steve sets up with a couple of new to us items and we settle in for a week or so before we start heading East!
