This week we are answering a question from a viewer about our past plans to rent apartments in different cities every year. When we first got started on our FIRE (financial independence early retirement) goals we were trying to decide where we wanted to live once we were no longer tied down by work. One of our original ideas was to rent apartments in new cities every year and explore from there. We decided against it when Steve’s dad asked why not RV instead! This way we could bring our home with us wherever we went and we didn’t have to worry about moving furniture etc. We are so glad we went the RV route. In the future we may do longer stays in AirBnBs in other countries which is a similar idea but without the hassle of buying all your own stuff!
